I Think I'll Be Alright

Last night my head and heart were touched.
And when you closed the door...
I drifted into a safe, secure, loving dream.
I awoke this morning and I thought about you.
You like the rain...It was raining.
And I think I'll be alright alone tonight.

I saw a rainbow this afternoon...
As I looked to the gray skies...
The colors were still vivid.
I remembered the gray thoughts in our rainbow last night.
I hope it will work.  I want to be your rainbow.
And I think I'll be alright alone tonight.
Yes, I think I'll be alright alone tonight.

I wanted to call you several times today.
I'm afraid.
Yet I know if I've seen my last rainbow for awhile.
Well, it was beautiful.
And it may be a long time before that rainbow glows again.
And I think I'll be alright alone tonight.
Yes, I think I'll be alright alone tonight.
