Currently a seasonal performer, Amber's
interest in singing blossomed in 5th Grade
during her solo "debut" finale of Lead Mine
Elementary's production of "A Whole Lotta'
Faintin' Goin' On".  Amber won awards in
vocal competitions in junior high & high
school and was a selected participant in the
NC Honors Chorus five years in a row.
Earning superior ratings in judged solo
competitions, she was also a regularly
selected soloist for Sanderson High's Spring
Concerts.  She served as co-student director
of Sanderson's "Sandpipers" in 2000-2001.
Amber performed as a 2nd soprano & as a
soloist with the Sandpipers in public &
private sectors including the Governor's
Mansion, Nortell, Springmoor Retirement
Home, Memorial Auditorium (Pieces of
Gold), other competitions & festivals at
ECU, Peace College.  Amber performed with
the Sandpipers during chorale group trips to
Chicago & Florida.  After graduation she
traveled to Italy with the Sandpipers to
perform in a four-city tour including a
performance at the Vatican.  Amber was also
asked to perform several times as a soloist at
the NC Bach Youth Festival.

Having finished her Bachelor's in
Interdisciplinary Studies (Social Change
Leadership - her self-directed major) at
NCSU, she continues her masters studies at
NSCU with a focus on business
administration.

Her own non-profit, ME3, has gained
recognition for their unique approach at
encouraging volunteerism and good works.
